Getting started — claiming your invitation
Welcome to Eigenoid
Eigenoid is a secure access portal. Your organisation uses it to give you access to the products and resources that are relevant to your role. You don't create an account on your own — instead, an admin sends you an invitation link and the portal guides you through the rest.
You don't need a password. Eigenoid uses authentication methods you enrol yourself — an authenticator app (TOTP) or a Passkey — to verify your identity on every login.
Step 1 — Check your email
Look for an invitation email from noreply@eigenoid.com. The subject line will be something like "You've been invited to Eigenoid".
If you don't see it in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there after a few minutes, ask your admin to resend it.
Step 2 — Click "Accept invitation"
Click the Accept invitation button (or link) in the email. This opens the Eigenoid portal in your browser and brings you to the account setup screen.
Invitation links are single-use and expire after 24 hours. If you see an error saying the link is invalid or expired, ask your admin to send a new one.
Step 3 — Set up your authentication method
The first time you follow your invitation link, the portal asks you to choose and enrol at least one authentication method. This is what you'll use to log in from now on — no email needed on subsequent logins.
You can choose one or both of these options:

We recommend setting up both — a Passkey for everyday use and an authenticator app as a backup. This way you're never locked out if you switch devices.
Step 4 — You're in
Once you've enrolled at least one method, you'll land on your Eigenoid dashboard. Your invitation is now claimed.
Subsequent logins
After claiming your invitation, logging in is straightforward — no email involved:
- Visit the Eigenoid portal and enter your email address.
- The portal shows the authentication methods you have enrolled.
- Choose your preferred method and authenticate:
- TOTP — open your authenticator app and enter the current 6-digit code.
- Passkey — use your fingerprint, face, or security key when prompted.
What if my invitation link expired?
Invitation links are only valid for 24 hours and can only be used once. If yours has expired:
- Contact your admin and ask them to resend the invitation.
- You'll receive a fresh email with a new link.
You cannot request a new link yourself — an admin needs to trigger it on your behalf.
What if I never received the email?
- Check your spam/junk folder and search for
noreply@eigenoid.com. - Make sure your admin has the correct email address for you.
- Ask your admin to resend the invitation — they can do this from the admin panel.
